Anam Cara Dads Golf outing to Roscrea was a great success. Seven dads took to the gold course and this event was kindly sponsored by DPS, Global. Starting with tea and scones before playing and a lovely meal afterwards with the “Sensible Burger” being the main meal of choice. The burger was actually gourmet, huge and looked “non-sensible”. DPS Global also provided some prizes as well with 1st place going to David Kelly with a score of 38 (best back 9), 2nd place going to Eddie Walsh with a score also of 38 and 3rd place going to JJ Grehan with a score of 35.

These are open to all bereaved parents with an emphasis on peer support. We also facilitate additional online bereavement support evenings with featured guests speakers who give an insightful talk about parental grief. If you are recently bereaved, these provide a gentle introduction to our services. With the easing of the pandemic restrictions, we really hope you will consider attending one of our events in the future.
